Doccia

The project involves the construction of a temporary pavilion designed through a collaboration between Luca Boffi (Alberonero) and Jacopo Valentini. By combining their techniques and expertise, the two designers aim to create a fluid environment that breaks with its surroundings, where the senses can be turned on their head. This experience can be fully appreciated by entering the structure, titled Doccia. Its shape is formed by the intersection of a rectangular prism and a cylinder, separating the interior from the exterior. The materials used are iron and fabric. The image becomes imagination. The goal is to alter the visitor’s perception by transporting them to a new, unreal place where a connection to the past is possible through a vertical link that unites the floor and the sky.
