Un bagliore dai campi
As part of the “Futuri Emergenti Italiani” exhibition, in the historic atrium of Palazzo Sommariva—the headquarters of BCC Centropadana in Lodi—an existing niche houses the work that Luca Boffi created specifically for the BCC Arte&Cultura exhibition. The installation simulates a sudden flash of light, conceived as the echo of light attempting to filter through a window that is, in reality, bricked up. To grasp the sculptural subject, one must look beyond the surface: the structure is in fact concealed by a semi-transparent fabric curtain imprinted with a landscape of the Po Valley. This layering creates a filtered, blurred vision with soft, diffused contours, evoking the typical, ethereal atmosphere of the plain. A vertical sculpture unfolds within an iron frame. The floral element is composed of crystals, colored glass, and local grass (harvested, dried, and preserved), all bound together and sealed with a layer of epoxy resin.
