Ara

2021, Perugia, ItalyInstallation

“Ara” is a temporary installation designed by Luca Boffi (Alberonero) for Spin-off at Officine Fratti. “Ara” means ‘altar’ and is a symbol of still life. “Ara” also refers to a unit of agricultural measurement. The design of the work is based on an analysis of the site’s architectural elements; the base consists of four concrete structures, the column is made from dead trees, and the arches take shape thanks to the wind through the use of lightweight, semi-transparent tulle.
